We are always glad to hear from people who want to do novel research. The lab works on all areas of AI for software engineering and human–AI collaboration, including energy efficient AI systems, AI for healthcare, agentic AI systems, etc. You do not need to have settled on one area to reach out.
We have a fully funded PhD position open for Spring 2027. It is not attached to a single project, so tell us what you want to work on rather than trying to match a posting. Email zeshili@ou.edu with a short note about what you have worked on and what you would like to work on next.
